Pleasant Stay with Friendly Staff
We enjoyed our three-night stay in a comfortable room, appreciated the modern kitchen for homemade meals, and loved the outdoor terrace for relaxing evenings. The staff promptly addressed our concerns, making us feel welcome. For optimal comfort, ask for a heater during cooler months!

Exceptionally clean accommodations with thoughtful guest amenities make this place a great choice. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering delicious and filling options, while the sharing bathrooms were surprisingly spacious and well maintained. The only downside was some street noise, particularly from nearby events, but the overall experience was highly enjoyable.

We had such a great time at this cozy spot right by the river! The individual bathrooms were a real treat for our family, and the kids loved the vibe here, especially the views of the Millennium Stadium. Check-in was super smooth.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities nearby.

I loved the location of Riverhouse, just a short walk from Cardiff Central Station. Very convenient for getting around. The self-check-in process was smooth, which I appreciated. The room was decent but on the average side. however, I did find the bathroom unclean upon arrival and cleaned it myself to feel comfortable using it. Breakfast started strong on the first morning, offering a good variety of options, but the replenishment was lacking in the following days, making it feel limited. I also wished I could have a cup of coffee in the evening, but the owner locked the coffee machine at night. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi was fantastic and the TV options were excellent, keeping us entertained during downtime.

Convenient location for catching a gig, with easy access to the train station and the heart of the city. The clean, well-maintained shared bathrooms provided a nice touch, making for an overall pleasant overnight stay.
Found it a bit surprising to see a bunk bed in what was advertised as a Double or Twin Room. expectations were not entirely met since the photos were mixed. The steep, narrow staircase could be challenging for anyone carrying heavy luggage or those uncomfortable with stairs. On top of that, the breakfast didn't quite live up to expectations, as the 'full English' really offered little more than the basic continental included. Lastly, the room temperature often swung from stuffy to uncomfortable despite the tall fan provided not really making much of a difference.
